About Aeternum Photography

Memphis, TN, United States
Thank you for visiting my site. My name is Joyce Wright. I am a Christian, a wife and a mother to one and I own one dog. I am based in Memphis, TN. Aeternum, the name I chose for my business is Latin for eternal. Photography is my hobby and passion. My goal is to capture the special moments in life and the little things that define people. I love capturing real emotions, love, joy and anything that is natural and unique to each client. My interest in photography was mainly sparked when I purchased my first Nikon camera in 2007. My leisurely pursuit in photography now turned into my main hobby and addiction was further ignited when our little girl was born in 2009. As I clicked away trying to capture every special moment of her life, I realized that I have a medium that could be explored. My camera of choice is a Nikon. I love its features, quality and its ease of use. 2009 was the birth year of Aeternum Photography. I L-O-V-E what I do and it is my hope that you can join my photography client family.

It has been 4 years.

Love is my greatest inspiration as a photographer. I love to capture it and I am blessed to have it.
4 years ago on a sunny Sunday afternoon my hubby asked me to join him for a dinner and a football date. With a simple yes we went on our very first date. It was just like that I became his lady and he became my man. A seemingly innocent and effortless evening changed my life forever and begun my family's journey.

Being the totally sap for romance that I am I decided that we should reenact our first date. I dressed in the same get up like I did 4 years ago, we left the house at same time he picked me up (4pm). Jumped into my hubby's dusty work truck (our love mobile at the time) and off we went to Beale Street to dine at the Blue City Cafe. Like our date the rest is history.
Here we are at the across the street from the Blue City Cafe where we first dined together. He also held my hand for the first time outside the restaurant after dinner.
I am blessed and supper happy to be married to the goofiest and sweetest macho man in the world.
